Terri Hunter, DNP
Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer

Terri Hunter is vice president and chief nursing officer and oversees nursing strategy, including leadership for trauma level 2 designation, patient experience, quality, case management, social work, infection prevention, acute-care and pediatric units nursing, and the Emergency Department.
She began her career as a registered nurse more than 25 years ago and joined Washington Health in 2023.
She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Utah, College of Nursing; and a Master of Public Administration from Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, where she also received a Bachelor of Nursing Science degree.
Hunter is a member of the Association of California Nurse Leaders and has worked with the Utah State Board of Higher Education, the Utah Organization of Nurse Leaders, and Mountainlands Technical College.
