Each year since 2012, Washington Health has been designated as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). By awarding facilities the status of a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence, the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in mammography, stereotactic breast biopsy and breast ultrasound (including ultrasound-guided breast biopsy).
Nurse Navigators—Caring For You
At Washington Health, nurse navigators meet with patients to help guide them and their family members through the breast cancer treatment journey. Whether answering some of the many initial questions, or offering resources for ride services, nurse navigators help patients feel less overwhelmed and more able to focus on the healing process.
