Senior Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Larry LaBossiere is senior vice president and chief operating officer. With a diverse nursing background, including military service health care, LaBossiere oversees perioperative, cardiovascular surgical, interventional radiology, food and nutrition, and pharmacy services. He also oversees construction, biomedical engineering, facilities and security, and environmental and operations support.
He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia; an MBA from National University in San Diego; and a Master of Science degree in nursing from UCSF. He is a licensed clinical nurse specialist.
He has more than 20 years of experience at U.S. naval hospitals and managed trauma care in Afghanistan and Iraq during Operation Enduring Freedom. He was also chief nursing officer at Palomar Medical Center Poway in San Diego.
