Washington Outpatient Surgery Center (WOSC) has been offering its patients advanced surgical services in a convenient, comfortable setting since April 1986. It is a multispecialty surgery center, offering surgical services in the areas of Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Gastroenterology (GI), General Surgery, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

WOSC specializes in state-of-the-art total joint replacement procedures using advanced robotic-assisted technology. Our orthopedic team utilizes the innovative TMINI® Miniature Robotic System from THINK Surgical — a compact, handheld, wireless robotic platform designed for highly precise implant placement in total knee replacement (and compatible with additional joint procedures). This next-generation robotic technology features CT-based 3D surgical planning for personalized, patient-specific procedures, delivering sub-millimeter and sub-degree accuracy. The miniature handheld design integrates seamlessly into familiar surgical workflows, provides real-time guidance, and supports an open implant platform so surgeons can select the optimal implant for each patient. These advancements help enable more accurate alignment, better soft tissue balance, minimally invasive techniques, and optimized outcomes in an outpatient setting.

We offer robotic-assisted total knee replacements, along with other total joint procedures including total hip replacements, partial knee replacements, shoulder replacements, and reverse shoulder replacements — all performed with precision-focused, same-day discharge approaches tailored for faster recovery.

The center features five state-of-the-art operating rooms and a state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center. The center is designed to provide surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures which are appropriate to a Medicare-certified ambulatory surgical facility.
