Vice President & Chief Compliance and Risk Officer
Kristin Ferguson is vice president and chief compliance and risk officer. She ensures that Washington Health organization adheres to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards, and manages risk.
Ferguson has served the organization for more than 20 years, beginning her career as a registered nurse and nursing leader, and transitioning to compliance and risk management roles.
She holds a master’s degree in nursing from UOP, Arizona with a focus in nursing leadership, and a master’s in health care finance and administration. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Hayward, in human biology.
Ferguson is a member of the Health Care Compliance Association, the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics, the American Society of Health care Risk Management, and the American Nurses Association. She holds a professional certification in health care compliance.
