When Is It Time to Schedule Your Mammogram?
Regular breast cancer screening is an important part of staying proactive about your health. Washington Health recommends annual mammograms beginning at age 40.
Your recommended screening schedule may be different based on your personal health history, family history, or other factors that may affect your risk of breast cancer. If you are unsure when you should begin screening or how often you should have a mammogram, talk with your health care provider.
