Support & Resources

Breast cancer affects more than your physical health. Washington Health offers support, education, and resources to help you and your loved ones throughout treatment and recovery.

HERS Breast Cancer Foundation

Hope, Empowerment, Renewal, Support

The HERS Breast Cancer Foundation is here to support you throughout your breast cancer journey and recovery. Since 1998, this nonprofit organization has provided breast cancer patients in the Tri-Cities community with post-surgical products, services, and compassionate support, regardless of financial status.

Located in Washington West at 2500 Mowry Ave., Suite 130, HERS provides a welcoming and compassionate setting where you can receive personalized consultations and private fittings. HERS Certified Mastectomy Fitters take the time to understand your individual needs and help you find products that support your recovery and comfort.

Available products include:

  • Post-surgical camisoles
  • Standard and custom breast prosthetics following a partial or full mastectomy
  • Specialty bras designed to hold breast prosthetics securely
  • Compression bras, arm sleeves, gloves, and gauntlets to help manage symptoms of lymphedema
  • Full and partial wigs for individuals experiencing hair loss

Most post-surgical products are covered by medical insurance, and the HERS team can assist with medical billing. HERS is accredited by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics & Pedorthics and is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) provider.

Washington Health's Breast Cancer Support Group provides a welcoming space for women living with or recovering from breast cancer to connect with others who understand what they are going through. Share experiences, find encouragement, and learn from others, including occasional guest speakers.

Friends, family members, and caregivers are also welcome.
