Physicians:
Bogdan Eftimie, MD
Dr. Eftimie earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University, his internship and residency at Loma Linda University, and his fellowship at the University of California, San Diego. His clinical interests include gastrointestinal, lung, melanoma, and benign hematology. Dr. Eftimie has a strong interest in research and serves as the principal investigator.

Emi Yoshida, MD
Dr. Yoshida earned her medical degree from the University of California, Davis, and completed her residency at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles, CA. She is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UCSF and is on the faculty at UCSF Health, while also treating patients at the Washington Radiation Oncology Center.
Victor Chen, MD, MPH, Medical Director

Dr. Victor Chen is a radiation oncologist who joined the UCSF-Washington Cancer Center in 2024 and cares for patients with a variety of cancers and benign tumors, with a particular interest in breast cancer and prostate cancer. He attended the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) for college, and then earned his medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Chen completed his residency in radiation oncology as well as earned a Master of Public Health degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Outside of work, Dr. Chen enjoys spending time with family and hiking – especially in U.S. National Parks (as of 2025, he has visited 29).
