Trauma Services
Emergency Care When You Need It
When you need emergency care, our team is here 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We provide treatment for serious conditions, including heart attack, stroke, injuries, infections, and other urgent illnesses. Our board-certified emergency physicians and specially trained nurses provide expert care for adults and children. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department. Do not delay care for symptoms that may require immediate attention.
Specialized Care for Older Adults with Fractures
Older adults who experience fractures after a fall or other low-impact injury often have unique care needs. Our Geriatric Fracture Services provide comprehensive treatment for fractures of the hip, pelvis and spine, including care for patients with osteoporosis and other age-related health concerns.
Our team takes a collaborative approach that goes beyond surgical repair. Orthopedic surgeons, internal medicine physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and social support specialists work together to address each patient's medical needs, recovery goals and overall well-being. This coordinated care helps support a safe recovery, restore mobility, and help patients return to the activities that matter most.
Emergency Care for Children
Children receive emergency care from our team, with additional support available through our partnership with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital when specialized pediatric treatment is needed.
