Trauma Services
Emergency Services
Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day to provide care for serious conditions like stroke and heart attack, as well as injuries, infections and other illnesses. Our physicians are board certified, and all nurses are specially trained and certified in lifesaving emergency care for adults and children. Do not ignore symptoms or delay care for emergent conditions. In a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the Emergency Department.
Geriatric Fracture
Our Geriatric Fracture Services are designed to serve the unique needs of older adults, focusing on the treatment of fragility fractures that commonly occur in the pelvis, hip, and spine after low-energy trauma, such as a fall from standing, and complicated by osteoporosis and other age-related risk factors. We offer comprehensive fracture care that extends beyond surgical repair. Our program emphasizes a collaborative approach, involving a team of orthopedic surgeons, internal medicine physicians, physical and occupational therapists, and social support services who work together to address the medical, surgical, and functional needs of our patients.
Pediatric Patients
We provide care for pediatric patients and partner with UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital for further treatment when necessary.
