Kadeer Halimi, DO

Dr. Kadeer M. Halimi serves as Medical Director of the Washington Health Emergency Department and the Tesla Onsite Clinic. He also serves on the board of Emergency Physicians Associates (EPA).

Dr. Halimi has held several leadership positions at Washington Health, including Chair of the Department of Medicine and Chair of the Department of Emergency Medicine. He has also served on and chaired several hospital committees, contributing to efforts to improve patient care and hospital services.

Dr. Halimi earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis. He earned his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences in Southern California and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Texas A&M University. He has been board certified in Emergency Medicine since 2005.

A Fremont native, Dr. Halimi has a strong connection to the community he serves. Outside of his work at Washington Health, he serves as Chief Medical Officer of Medikarma, a company focused on improving patient care through secure communication and care management tools.
