Hee Namgoong, P.A.-C.

Hee Namgoong, PA-C, is a physician assistant practicing family medicine at Washington Health Medical Group’s Warm Springs Clinic. Hee’s clinical background includes urgent care, occupational medicine, surgical assisting, and specialty care. Her experience includes caring for patients before and after surgery, evaluating illnesses and injuries, providing wound care, and helping patients understand their treatment plans and follow-up instructions.

Hee earned a master’s degree in health sciences through the physician assistant program at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Suwanee, Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating magna cum laude. A scientist at heart, Hee worked as a clinical laboratory scientist before becoming a physician assistant.

Her experience includes caring for patients with cancer and blood disorders at Kaiser Permanente and working in urogynecology at Palo Alto Medical Foundation, with a focus on female pelvic organ prolapse and urinary incontinence. Across these roles, she has provided patient education and counseling and coordinated care with other members of the healthcare team.

Hee values working alongside physicians and appreciates their support in caring for patients in her community. She feels privileged to partner with her patients and emphasizes prevention and shared decision-making, helping each patient make informed choices about their care.

Outside of the clinic, Hee enjoys hiking local trails, working in her garden, and exploring new cities and countries. Her favorite podcast is American Family Physician.
