Nowwar Ghazi Mustafa, MD

Bio

Dr. Nowwar Mustafa an interventional cardiologist with special interest in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of heart attacks and heart valve problems.

Mustafa is joining Washington Township Medical Foundation from Ohio Health with ample clinical experience.

Mustafa has a passion for teaching and is a well-experienced clinical educator with previous academic appointments at Ohio University, University of Kentucky School of Medicine and the University of Pikeville.

As a fellow Dr. Mustafa won the prestigious American Heart Association Young Investigator Award and has recently earned his Global Clinical Research Scholar Certificate from Harvard to build on his early career research contributions, and refine his skills. In addition to this prestigious award, his board certifications include:

Mustafa’s interest towards clinical science began in his childhood life, when he watched his late father struggle with a rare medical condition. With his well-rounded exposure from Jordan to many regions in the United States, Mustafa has a global perspective towards patient care and understands the language of every heart.

In addition to English, he is fluent in Arabic and uses it in his medical practice to communicate with patients and their families. Mustafa is married to a Family Physician and has four children. His hobbies include Hiking, reading and playing with his little ones.
