Jeannie Yee, a former Stanford Medicine operating room nurse, has served on the Washington Township Health Care District Board of Directors since 2020. A resident of Fremont for more than 45 years, she is honored to serve neighbors and friends in the community.
Yee takes pride in the fact that Washington Health nurses are nationally recognized for excellence in the areas of nursing practice through Magnet Designation, the gold standard and highest national honor for excellence in professional nursing.
Now retired, Yee volunteers at Washington Health, using her experience as a second-generation nurse to help patients and families during stressful situations. She finds this role very fulfilling, especially seeing patients feel better and go home. Her motto is that hospitals are places of healing and hope, and she values the nurse’s role as a blessing to people.
