Washington Health’s Obstetrics program was recognized through the Quest for Zero program for its commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence. Washington Health received a Tier 2 Excellence Award after completing Tier 1 education focused on fetal heart monitoring and advancing Tier 2 initiatives, including fetal tracing reviews, adoption of national best-practice terminology, clinical simulations and drills, and participation in the Perinatal Safety Collaborative. Washington Health’s Breast Program received reaccreditation from the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Programs accredited by the NAPBC follow a model for organizing and managing a breast center to facilitate multidisciplinary, integrated, and comprehensive breast cancer services. The NAPBC focuses on the spectrum of a patient’s journey with breast cancer or breast disease, including prevention, screening, treatment, and survivorship.

AHA acknowledges Washington Health’s commitment and success in implementing a higher standard of stroke care by ensuring that stroke patients receive treatment according to nationally accepted standards and recommendations.
