Seema Sehgal, MD

Dr. Seema Sehgal is board certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She earned her medical degree at the Armed Forces Medical College in Pune, India before coming to the United States for her internship and psychiatric residency at the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco. Dr. Sehgal served the Fremont Community for 14 years as a Staff psychiatrist for the Alameda County Behavioral Services department and the Alameda County Crisis Response Program. This experience in treating patients from widely diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds provides Dr. Sehgal with a unique perspective and sensitivity for the influence of culture on the varied presentations of psychiatric illness in our community.
